Oh, to gaze at the Eiffel Tower and smoke a cigarette as the world ends.
Clemence Poesy gives such a movie-star performance in these wordless opening sequences.
Shes doing drugs and … stealing watches?
First, its a fight in the distance and a car crash.
By the time she reascends the steps, Paris is a confused and violent mess.
Its not 100 percent clear what her relationship with this man is, just that they have a history.
Is Quinn her boyfriend?
Nagaitis played Adam Drivers enabling bestie inThe Last Duel, so I cant immediately trust him.
At dinner, Lou asks Father Daryl to lead them in a prayer.
His grace is … something else.
Maybe we deserve it for being so mean to each other.
We probably do deserve it.
No, tonight is good.
And if this isnt good enough for you, I dont know what is.
Is that what Daryl has thought all this time?
But first, its television night!
But as Daryl says, you cant miss what you never had.
The next day, Daryl and Lou head toward the castle while Laurent bonds with other children.
He runs off, in classicTWDchild fashion, and finds the dead mule.
(Come on, kid.
There were zombies all over the road.
You cant bethatsheltered.)
The abbey survivors have a lot of issues to work through on their journey.

That starts off as a good idea.
First, Daryl finds one of the lost children named Herisson imprisoned.
But RJ doesnt stick around much.

He also tells Lou that theyre going to be fine.

This is not an ordinary birth, however.
Lily diesandturns before the baby is fully born.
In shock, Isabelle takes the miracle child and names him after, you guessed it, Saint Laurent.
Let us hope the little weirdo onThe Walking Dead: Daryl Dixondoes not suffer a similar fate.
His naivete is a problem, but hes adorable.
Isabelles backstory is classicThe Walking Deadin a way that feels familiar but still fresh.
She has lost a sibling like Daryl and Maggie.
Shes caring for a child thats not hers after the childs mother died giving birth, like Rick Grimes.
(Laurie died after Judith was born onTWD; however, not before, a la Lily).
Until Daryl Dixon darkened her doorstep, that is.
The schoolchildren whistle it as they attack, and Isabelle sings it to her sister as shes giving birth.
Its as if the song Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes were about amputation.
Was this episodes unsubtle only one bed trope signaling that we should ship Isabelle and Daryl romantically?
Its going to take more than that, FYI.
My guard iswayup regarding Daryl Dixon and love interests.
It didnt happen onThe Walking Deadwith Carol, Beth, Aaron, or Connie.
I wont be burned again!
The apocalypse has been going on for over a decade at this point inThe Walking Deads history.
But there are some that are definitely younger than 10.
Have folks just dropped their babies off there over the years?
Whatever, scary dude!
Merle Dixon has been invoked a few times already on this show.
Will Michael Rooker be a surprise cameo in a flashback or something?
Did you guys catch Young Sylvie in the background of the abbey?
She was the only child there before Laurent.
