Angie says that shes heard plenty of rumors about Monica, but that doesnt mean she spreads them.
But vague threats dont work on Monica, whos a pro at getting ahead of the story.

Instead, an argument breaks out between Monica and Linda, which is deeply bizarre.
The women watching this play out without context and are appalled at how Monica talks to her mother.
Even so, maybe leaving her mother alone at Angies party without a ride is a bit much?
At least she knows there will be plenty of grape leaves there to sustain her.
