From the classic Are sex scenes necessary?

Twitter argument tocontinued debateover Glovers attitude toward Black women asrepresented in his artandsomething involving Halle Berry (??

), the takes have beenhot and rapid.

The show starsDominique Fishbackas Andrea Dre Greene, a freakishly devoted fan of pop goddess NiJah.

But the biggest fan theory forSwarmbelieves Dres first kill was much closer to home.

Did Dre Kill Marissa?

InSwarms first episode, Dres best friend and ex-foster sister Marissa kills herself.

This is based on thereal-life (debunked) rumorthat a woman named Marissa died by suicide afterLemonadecame out.

Dre comes home to find Marissas dead body, kicking off Dres slide into darkness.

But some viewers are pretty sure Marissa was actually Dres first victim.

Naw, Dre definitely killed Marissa and killing Rashida was the mirror.

Holy crap.pic.twitter.com/3BmFSA7gvL

Swarm is so good and has me thinking A LOT.

But What About the Texts?

Dre could have easily sent those texts herself.

We even see her texting herself with Marissas phone later in the episode.

Wait.. Dre wasnt killing because people didnt like NiJah.

That is if you even think that club scene really happened.

Is Rory Culkin Even Real?

I dont believe Dre ever went out that night.

She appears confident and flirtatious.

But What About the Documentary?

And the end of the doc shows Donald Glover teasing the existence of the very show were watching.

This seems to be corroborated by Marissas apparent suicide later in the episode.

What if its actually a self-defense wound from the sleepover?

It was for Marissas birthday, and Dre was supposed to stay in the attic.

Apparently, Dre snuck out and found the sleepover kids playfully attacking Marissa led by mean girl Gwen.

Dre snapped and tried to choke and stab Gwen with Marissa trying to break up the fight.

If even this first wound was Dre-inflicted, Marissas death becomes that much more open-ended.

But getting real, creator-condoned answers to this theory seems about as likely as finally getting thoseRenaissancevisuals.
