Theyre goofing off in the car, talking about their own dream weddings.
Joels includes Sam singing Laura Branigans 80s banger Gloria while he walks down the aisle.
Theyre also the perfect setup for the emotional gut punch of watching that friendship be put in danger.
Am I being dramatic about this?
The thought of Sam and Joel in a fight is keeping me up at night, okay?
Oh, this date, you guys!
This date is so adorable.
It doesnt take long.

Shes so angry she can barely speak.

Taken alone, it would be easy to decide that Sams overreacting, to say the very least.

And still, Sam goes, and Tricias left all alone crying over the sink.
Its wild how fast this show can move from laugh-out-loud funny to achingly real and never miss a beat.
