Imagine youre getting psyched up to have dinner with Anna Wintour.
So you go to glam and you get all shiny and cute.
And then when you get to the restaurant, its just your bf proposing?
What a let down!
Kidding, kidding,Shaun Whites proposal to Nina Dobrev actually sounds very sweet.
According to White, Dobrev is a planner.
Dobrev had suspected White would pop the question when they were South Africa for The Earthshot Prize Ceremony.
So he decided to actually do it a few weeks before in New York.
Good plan, right?
Dobrev told him she didnt want to go out at all until Africa.
So White made up an offer she couldnt refuse.
He had his publicist send a fake invite to a fake CDFA/Voguedinner with Anna Wintour.
He made the invite look so legitimate, Dobrev says.
I just froze and stared at him, she says.
Shes like, So, wait, Annas not here?
Dobrev doesnt remember the rest of her proposal, saying she kind of blacked out.
But she said yes, and all the couples friends and family came out to party!
Not Anna Wintour, though.
Shed better get an invite to the wedding.
