The unease is too palpable and the acting too strong forLove & Deathto become altogether routine or boring.
However, close-ups of her tensely entwined hands reveal her anxiety over the big lie.
Ma-ma-ma-my Sharona, and decides that now is not the time, the Knack.
(In the movie, its a survival move, perhaps reflecting Candys mentality about her crime.)
