Josh Freese has been announced asFoo Fightersnew drummer, the group revealed on Sunday.
Freese will take over the role previously filled byTaylor Hawkinsuntil his death in 2022.
The band announced the news during theFoo Fighters: Preparing Music For Concertslivestream.
He also performed, along with over 50 other musicians, atHawkinss Los Angeles tribute concertlast year.
Freeseposted on social mediaat the time about the experience of playing Hawkinss drum set during the concert.
