Its all very silly, though, which may or may not be enough for you.

Heads roll in quick succession as endless amounts of blood spray out all over the cabin.
The fact that we never see the spirit in bodily form makes it all the more terrifying.

)Evil Deadis the richest, most stylized version, featuring more blood, gore, and comedic beats.
This film is a masterstroke.
