Then theres Robby, still haunted from only making it to second place in two different All Valley tournaments.
Unfortunately, Tory is also goingthrough it, dealing with issues much more serious than Miguels.
Tory has people who care about her, but she wont accept it.
So we get the second match of the episode where deeper feelings are obviously at play.
She storms out, leaving the senseis to announce Sam as the female captain for the Sekai Taikai.
When he gets caught, Johnny hilariously attempts an Eagle Fangesque mutiny at the LaRusso dealership.
By pushing Johnny away, its like hes defending the spotless record of a man who never really existed.
This time, Daniel and Johnny arent splitting the dojo before the big tournament.
Theyll keep teaching together despite their personal issues, then go their separate ways after the Sekai Taikai.
Its a smart way of keeping the two in the same room for the next batch of episodes.
I have to say, though, I wasnotexpecting the tournament to be coming up quite so fast.
