Theres no such thing as a typicalSteve McQueenmovie.
Its the worst movie McQueens made, which by wider standards means that its still not bad.
ButBlitzdoesnt have the narrative propulsion of Dickens, skipping its young protagonist from perilous situation to perilous situation.
Blitzis more conventional than McQueens previous work, which wouldnt be a problem if McQueen fully embraced that fact.
