regarding her new L.A. outlook on life?
It feels very old-school Miranda Hobbes.
In all fairness to her, the theme is Veiled Beauty and she is owning that.
See?Fun!And the whole running gag about Anthony being someones plus-one only to continually get ditched?

But onAnd Just Like That …it just feels more glaring.
She has very little to do.

Her gold ensemble and metal mask are my favorite look of the episode.
None of these story lines is bad, per se, but they are flimsy.
That, at least, shows some character development and forward momentum.
While she seems super-interested (did you not hear about the sex montage?
), she lets Toussaint know shes married.
Nya basically breaks things off right there.
Maybe its just a premiere issue were getting reoriented to the large ensembles current whereabouts, emotionally speaking.
And we havent even gotten to Los Angeles yet.
Its true, I 100 percent buried the lede here.
I cant tell yet.
Or I hate it.
It does seem like thats where were headed.
