I fear I have been bamboozled about bees.

DEVIN MCGEE, ANGELA BASSETT

When Im promised a three-episode bee-nado event, I expect that there will be ample stinging insects throughout.

Jenkins explains why the scary men are after him: The U.S.

In fact, hell cooperate with the U.S.

Attorneys Office without the early release hes been promised unless Athena forgives him for murdering her fiance.

The smaller craft rips two big holes in the airliner.

The co-pilot is also seriously wounded, but hes able to level the plane before passing out.

(I would love to know who her carrier is.)

(This is the last thing Boeing needs.)

Its a beautiful showcase for Bassett, who brings real gravitas to the silliest of situations.

The 118 is still reeling from Buck knocking down Gerrard-slash-saving him from the flying buzzsaw.

While there are apparently multiple injuries, we really just focus on two cases.

The first is one of the volleyball girls, who has a horrifically broken leg.

Chimney walks Jenkins through stabilizing the leg, which then starts swelling up.

Chimney walks them through using the shiv to slice down to the muscle along the girls leg.

Its very gross, but it works instantly.

(Too instantly for my liking.

There is a grotesque popping sound.)

The other case is businessman Jordan, who hasnt been able to breathe properly since the aircraft stabilized.

Boner pills, which will dilate his blood vessels in addition to, well, you know.

She then tells Tia to cover Jordans lap with a blanket for modesty.

Shoutout to the grandparents on the plane for providing both of the elements needed to save Jordans life.

Perks of being geriatric, dear says grandma, a queen.

But this is9-1-1and nothing is ever so simple, especially when youre at the midpoint of a three-part event.

The co-pilot stands up and promptly has a heart attack and were left with another cliffhanger.

I have no doubt that Angela Bassett could land a plane … but can Athena?

For most of the episode, no one can even reach him.

Take that, fact-checkers!

Whats going on there?

Im always happy to see Callum Blue, but the vibes areoff.

Buck-Tommy watch:Speaking of gay, Tommy is MIA in this episode.

Im thrilled that9-1-1has put Buck in a same-sex relationship, and I wanted to celebrate that.

If he does happen to leave Tommy for Eddie, trust that this will become a Buddie watch section.

In this house, we love and appreciate Buck kissing dudes, full stop.

Much as I hate the guy, the radio silence from Captain Gerrard is concerning.

If hes dead, does that mean Buck is responsible?

Or is it a wash because the blade would have killed him anyway?
